The Directed DSM550 SmartStart Pro 4G LTE GPS Module works with the SmartStart app to let you remote-start your car, lock or unlock it, and track its location. To use remote start, your vehicle must already have a compatible system installed.
Built for speed and reliability, SmartStart Pro uses 4G LTE and pairs perfectly with Directed’s DS4/DS4+ systems. Its one-piece wiring harness makes installation quick and clean, and it's fully compatible with existing setups.
A subscription (1 to 3 years) to SmartStart Secure or GPS Premium is required. The Secure plan includes features like vehicle location tracking and movement alerts. The Premium plan adds extras like geo-fencing and alerts when entering or leaving specific areas.
The app also shows your car’s current status—whether it’s locked, running, or if a door is open.
